Joy for the Broken

Due to winter weather, this Advent service was shared entirely online, creating a warm and intimate worship experience centered in our homes. The Advent candle was lit by Mike and Tammy Creech from their house, setting a reflective tone for the service. Worship was led by Kirk and Pam Hopkins singing from their home, along with Tamara Starling offering music from hers, giving the service a uniquely personal and “homey” feel.

Pastor Mark Garrett shared the message from home, reflecting on joy—not as fragile happiness shaped by circumstances, but as the deeper joy that comes when God draws near. Even while physically apart, the service reminded us that worship and joy are not limited by location, and that God meets us right where we are.
