Ten Things You Might Want to Know about Mark
1. What’s your favorite movie? Some of my favorites are: O’ Brother Where Art Thou?, Princess Bride, Shawhank Redemption, It’s a Wonderful Life,
2. What’s on Your I-Pod? You think I’m cool enough to have an I-Pod? Thanks! Sorry to disappoint you. When driving I’m usually listening to talk radio. I enjoy hearing what others have to say and possibly learning a few things along the way. My blackberry does have some music on it (mostly praise and worship tunes, some Jeremy Camp, Third Day, Chris Daughtry, Chris Tomlin, and Kutless).
3. What’s your favorite thing to do? OK, it’s corny but here’s the truth. I really enjoy spending time with my wife, Judith. (Go ahead…..groan.)
4. What’s your favorite meal? Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, chocolate cake with blonde ice cream. (My mom’s coconut cream pie runs a close second.) I also love Mexican food. Hot is good! If you’d like to try to change my mind with your favorite recipe, bring it on over. I’ll give it a try.
5. Favorite TV shows? My all-time favorite is Andy Griffith. Never been a better duo than Andy and Barney. Currently I enjoy, 24, CSI, Lost, Dirty Jobs, & Myth Busters. Thank goodness for DVR!
6. Favorite sports teams? I’m a longtime Red’s fan. Miss those days of listening to Marty and Joe on a warm sunny night. I’m a fair weather fan of the Bengals. If they’re losing, I’m snoozing. If they’re winning, I’m grinning. I look forward to when the University of Cincinnati has a basketball team. (Ouch!)
7. Your favorite authors? I enjoy reading fiction by John Grisham and James Patterson. My all time favorite is Bill McConnell. (Shameless suck up!) My all-time favorite is God. Who can beat the Bible!
8. Where do you like to spend your vacation? It’s hard to beat the beach. Give me a good book and the sound of the surf and I’m in paradise.
9. What will you achieve some day? Get my pilot’s license. I went for awhile, but ran out of time and money before getting to finish. One of these days….
10. Who would you like to meet? Billy Graham would be incredible. Mark Driscoll (Google him) — I’d love to sit down and pick his brain. Can’t wait to meet Jesus face-to-face.
